Bio
I am a freelance web developer, web designer, and graphic designer operating in
Lexington, KY and working with companies in every state.
Born and raised in Lexington, KY, I am a hometown girl to the bone. My entire adolescence I adamantly proclaimed that as soon as I turned 18, I was going to hop into my 1986 Camry and head to San Francisco to live on the streets and write poetry. Now that I am little older, and have actually seen other parts of the country, I am singing a different tune (with a bluegrass feel to it).
I have had a love of computers since I was very young. I was fortunate enough to attend a relatively progressive elementary school, where we not only worked on computers, but also actually got to do some programming. (Does anyone remember LogoWriter? Anyone? Geez, I'm old.)
I attended SCAPA (School for the Creative and Performing Arts) at Lafayette High School, where I majored in Creative Writing and got into a lot of trouble. I graduated a year early (mainly in an effort to get out before I could be thrown out) and attended Midway College. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, Summa Cum Laude, and an Associate of Arts in Computer Information Systems, with Honors.
Since graduating, I have spent the last several years working in Marketing and Web Design. Feel free to peruse my portfolio below for just a couple examples of what I have done.
